Fallen two part TV series

TELEVISION

How we initially reported Simone's role in the ITV1 drama Fallen:

Fallen - provisionally called Guardian.

TELETEXT report that Fallen is to be shown over the 26th and 27th April 2004. Thanks to Madmum for the info.
Simone is to be in a two part drama early next year provisionally called Guardian, she stars alongside Kerrie Taylor (Where the heart is).

From Simone's agents (with thanks):

Simone completed GUARDIAN (2 part drama) for ITV. She only finished filming that the week before last (making that the week beginning Monday 11th August 2003).

Taken from the TV times:

Jonathan (leading man Jonathan Cake) , who starred in dramas The Swap and Mosley, plays Jason Shepherd, an amnesiac who wakes up in hospital to discover he's a detective with an estranged wife and family.
It's all a huge shock, in more ways than one, since his character discovers his memory loss occurred when someone tried to electrocute him.
Insider's mole on the drama, which has a working title of Guardian, says: 'It was important to find an actor who could carry this part. It was well worth the wait. Jonathan gives a great performance in a very demanding role.'
Written by The Vice scribe Steve Griffiths, Guardian is described as shocking, action-packed and romantic. 'It's more about a man who has lost his memory than it is about a normal police show,' says our source. 'He starts investigating the case he's on, and realises he is investigating himself'.
Jonathan's co-stars include Kerrie Taylor (Where the Heart Is) who plays his wife, and Gary Love (Soldier Soldier) as DI Tom Beckett.
The name of the drama will have to be changed because there is already a US drama with a similar title. 'It has an ambiguous ending, which it is hoped will leave the way open for it to return', says our mole.
